Principal Data Scientist

Title: Principal Data Scientist

Location: 100% Remote (Work from home / WFH)

Duration: 6+ months contract (Potential to extend)
 

Note: The Candidate should be fine to work in the client's mentioned time zone as per need.
 

Job description:

·        We need candidates that have experience designing end-to-end AI solutions and have built and implemented them

·        We do NOT need someone with AI Speech or AI Vision experience

·        We need someone w/ Models (textract), cloud (AWS), scalability (Lambdas & Sagemaker), model governance and regulated frameworks (TensorFlow or PyTorch) experience

·        Advanced degree (Ph.D. or Master's) in Computer Science, Statistics, Electrical Engineering or a related field.

·        Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in data science, with a focus on healthcare applications in cloud.

·        Proven track record in designing and implementing AI solutions, with a portfolio of successful projects in healthcare automation and decision support.

·        Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, and familiarity with relevant frameworks and libraries.

·        Extensive experience in full-stack development, including front-end and back-end technologies, to create end-to-end AI solutions.

·        Expertise in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch,

·        Experience using AWS infrastructure and tools such as lambdas, Sagemaker, for scaling

·        Proven experience working within or contributing to an AI Center of Excellence.

·        Ability to lead and mentor teams, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

·        Expertise in developing and implementing machine learning algorithms for decision automation in healthcare workflows.

·        Demonstrated success in building recommendation systems aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

·        Experience in designing and implementing model bias detection mechanisms.

·        Familiarity with ethical AI principles and governance frameworks to ensure responsible and fair AI practices.

·        Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

·        Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, software developers, and healthcare professionals.

·        Strong commitment to staying updated on the latest advancements in data science and AI in healthcare.

·        Proactive approach to identifying and implementing innovative solutions to address emerging challenges.

·        Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive projects from conception to implementation.

·        Strong communication skills to convey complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

·        Proven problem-solving abilities in complex, dynamic environments.

·        Healthcare experience is required

·        Need to have Director level experience

·        Need to have a strong hands on background with hands on full stack development with Python
